Clinical Study Confirms Sexual Enhancement Effects of Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed Formula

NEW YORK, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- According to new research just released by internist Steven Lamm, M.D., the herbal aphrodisiac, Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed has positive effects on male sexual performance. (Effect of a Horny Goat Weed Herbal Formula On Sexual Satisfaction in Healthy Men and Men Treated With Viagra, by Steven Lamm, M.D.) According to the study, sexual satisfaction was enhanced for 60% of healthy males and for 45% of those who were taking it in combination with Viagra.

The double-blind, placebo-controlled study required subjects to take two capsules (1616 mg) of Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed daily and an additional four capsules (3232 mg) one to two hours before sexual activity. Study subjects consisted of twenty-five healthy men, 25 to 66 years old and thirteen men currently using Viagra, 36 to 66 years old. Five healthy men dropped out for personal reasons.

Questionnaires completed at the beginning and end of the study by participants were used as a measurement tool, revealing an array of positive effects from the herbal supplement. In addition to 60% of the males reporting increased sexual satisfaction, more than half noted a positive response in relation to sexual desire, as well as a 20% to 100% increase in sexual activity for most subjects.

Men in the Viagra group also reported positive effects as a result of the Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed formula including increased enjoyment in sexual activity, increased desire, and increased frequency of sexual activity.

Erectile function in the men who took both Viagra and Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed was examined as well. All of the men either increased or maintained their ability to get an erection, with five of the six reporting erections sufficient for penetration.

The placebo phase lasted two weeks, and was performed with the thirteen healthy men who responded positively to the herbal product in phase one. Six of those men were randomly selected to receive a placebo, while the remaining seven continued using the test product. Six of the seven subjects in the Pinnacle Horny Goat Weed group reported continued positive effects while no one receiving the placebo reported any positive sexual response.

No negative side effects were reported. Additionally, the test product did not have any effect on blood pressure, further supporting its safety.

The formula used in this study consists of epimedium grandiflorum (the horny goat weed herb itself), maca pure, mucuna pruriens, and polypodium vulgare, and was provided by Bodyonics, Ltd., manufacturer of Pinnacle supplements.
